Vinh Long signs strategic cooperation agreement on international vocational training: Practical direction for students of the province
Vinh Long, April 15, 2025 - The Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province, SHD-Corp Joint Stock Company and the Erfurt City Chamber of Industry (Federal Republic of Germany) have just signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation on human resource development, creating opportunities for vocational study in Germany for high school students in Vinh Long province.
The signing ceremony took place within the framework of implementing the Action Program of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee on developing and improving the quality of human resources for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. One of the key contents of the program is to develop vocational training, aiming to provide high-quality human resources to serve the socio-economic development of the province.
Reasons and significance of the memorandum of understanding
In the context of increasingly deep international integration, the need to train highly skilled human resources, not only to serve the domestic labor market but also to be competitive in the international market, has become a key factor for sustainable development. In order to meet this need, the memorandum of cooperation between the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province, SHD-Corp and the Erfurt City Department of Industry will open up opportunities for vocational study in Germany, helping high school students in Vinh Long access the international quality vocational education system.
The Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province, SHD-Corp Joint Stock Company and the Erfurt City Chamber of Industry (Germany) signed a cooperation agreement to implement a vocational study abroad and employment program in Germany for students.
According to Ms. Truong Thanh Nhuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province, “We believe that this cooperation program will help Vinh Long students have the opportunity to access advanced knowledge and professional skills in Germany, meeting the needs of the domestic and international labor market. This is an important step in the strategy to improve the quality of human resources of the province, bringing many practical values to Vinh Long's young people in both the present and the future.”
